One construction company (applicant) in Jiangsu undertook the construction project subcontracted by the Singapore company in 2006. After the completion of the project in 2009, the remaining balance was not paid. After several reminders sent, there are still more than 3 million yuan outstanding.
In September 2013, the Singapore company sold a batch of iron metal powder with more than $4 million to one Hong Kong company. After delivery was completed, the Hong Kong company failed to pay as agreed in contract, and more than $600,000 was in arrears.
In November 2011, a BVI Company has signed a purchase contract with an US Company on selling a batch of chemical products at a price of $140,000. Both parties agreed in the contract: All disputes in connection with this contract shall be submitted for arbitration to China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) Shanghai Sub-commission.
