David represented Al-Anwaar International GENERAL TRADING L.L.C (the Buyer) against Wuxi Jiaborui Special Steel Co., LTD. in an International sales contract dispute case. Recently Wuxi Intermediate People's Court concluded this case through judicial mediation, David successfully helped the client to recover the losses in this mediation for the amount of 1.6 million CNY.

This case involves different legal issues including quality variance and quantity shortage. Because the goods have basically been resold, the plaintiff has high requirements for proof of evidence. After accepting the commission, David’s team prudently analyzed the case, made a suitable litigation strategy, prepared sufficient evidence, finished notarization, arranged translation, etc. In December 2022, the case was registered, and after two court hearings under pressure, the defendants agreed to mediate. David represented the client and conducted several rounds of negotiations with the defendant, and finally, the two sides reached a mediation agreement. By reaching this mediation agreement, the client received the full amount of damages, and most of the losses were recovered.
