One Shanghai company sold several batches of lighthouse equipment, self- designed and self-manufactured, to an Australian company in 2012. After receiving the products, the Australian company claimed that there was a quality problem, resulting in disputes between the parties. In May 2014, the Australian company sued the Shanghai company in the Queensland district court of Australia, requesting to refund all the money paid and compensate for the loss.
In May 2017, one Jiangsu enterprise exported two batches of chemical products to Italy, payment by usance letter of credit. After receipt of the goods, the Italian buyer was not willing to pay due to claimed quality problems.
On October 2014, a Shanghai Company (Plaintiff) entrusted a Hongkong Shipping Company (Defendant) to deliver one container from Shanghai to Port NAVEGANTES, Brazil. The goods have been given to the buyer without original B/L being presented, and the Claimant as seller did not receive the remaining balance for the goods.
