Dispute Case of a Large State-owned Enterprise over the Import of Important Equipment
In June 2022, David's team successfully helped a large state-owned enterprise, AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd, resolve an international technology development contract dispute with a German enterprise through arbitration and negotiation, of which the disputed amount was more than RMB 20 million. In the negotiation, David's lawyer represented the client to initiate international arbitration, conduct reasonable negotiation with the counterparty while promoting the arbitration, and coordinate with the client to flexibly adjust the negotiation program based on the main interests of the client. After several rounds of negotiation in the past 14 months, the client and the German company reached a settlement to resolve the dispute.
